The leaves are changing from green to brown...
Well, it's that time of the year again, where I give up all hope that summer might still come back. The leaves are starting to fall off the trees, and I'm just glad that they waited until the end of summer to start their taunting. It's not so much that I don't like fall; it's beautiful, especially here at Doane. I just don't like the idea that winter will follow shortly. I hate being cold. I would much rather lie on the grass or go swimming than have a snowball fight or make a snowman or drink hot chocolate or any of that stuff. While I'll admit that Doane winters are some of the most beautiful I've seen and that does make up for how cold it gets, at least a little, they still can't compare to the freedom of summer. What can you do, though, really? I'll just have to pull out my winter coat, or maybe get a cute new one and make the most of it. It's like they say: everyone talks of the weather, no one does a thing about it.

IT'S PERFECT!
I've decided on the afghan I'm going to knit. Yes, I know that I am completely insane. But it's BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE IT!

I'll start as soon as I get the yarn :)

I think I'd like to make an afghan...
A big project, that I can just pick up whenever I feel like it, where I don't feel pressured to get it done. All the small projects I've been doing make me feel like I have a week or so to get them done, and I think I'd really rather just take my time on something that I can have forever.
Now, where in the world will I get that much yarn...

A Little About Myself...
My name is Bobbi, with an i, no e, not a y. I just turned 19, and I currently attend Doane College where I'm in the premed program, with a biology major. Someday, I'll go off to medical school, though don't ask me where, because right now I have no idea. What I do know is that when all is said and done, I'll be a pediatrician. Right now, I'm just going with the flow, waiting to see where my life takes me.
I've got a wonderful boyfriend, Clayton. Someday, he'll be my husband. Fate has brought us together in some of the craziest ways, and I love him so much for who he is. He makes me feel better about myself than anyone ever has. He constantly tells me how beautiful and wonderful I am, and that I'm his princess. And he is my knight in shining armor. :)
I enjoy doing just about anything. I love to knit, be outside, clean, bake, and play with children. I'll try anything once, and I'm easy to please. My favorite color is pink, and my favorite season is summer. I love meeting new people and making friends.
